Domestic IT giant Infosys has given good news to its employees. It has issued performance bonus letters for the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26 (Q1 FY2025-26). The company has also announced a better bonus for its employees due to its strong financial performance in this quarter.
It seems that an average performance bonus of 80% has been announced for employees for the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26. This is a significant increase compared to the average bonus payment of 65% given in the previous quarter. Employees are expressing happiness over this. The announced bonus will be received by the employees along with the salary for the month of August.
The employees received bonuses ranging from 75% to 89% based on their performance ratings. This bonus payment covers more than 3.23 lakh employees in pay levels 4, 5, and 6 (software engineers, team leaders, and senior managers). It is understood that the bonuses have been determined by categorizing employees into three categories based on performance.
Infosys has reported strong financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2025-26. It posted a net profit of Rs 6,921 crore (up 8.7% year-on-year) and revenue of Rs 42,279 crore (up 7.5% year-on-year), beating analysts’ expectations.
